Local music generation

LoopMaker generates music on your Mac. Your music prompts and generated audio are not uploaded to LoopMaker servers. The app connects to the internet for license operations, software updates, and the initial model download.

Licensing

When you activate, verify, or deactivate a license, the app sends the license key and a device identifier to our Cloudflare Worker. The Worker validates the license with Polar or Gumroad. We store hashed license and device identifiers plus the minimum activation metadata needed to enforce the one-device limit. We do not store the raw license key or customer email in our license database.

The app stores your license key in the macOS Keychain. Local license metadata is stored on your Mac.

Purchases

New purchases are processed by Polar. Legacy purchases may have been processed by Gumroad. Those providers collect and process purchase, payment, tax, and customer information under their own privacy policies. LoopMaker does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Website analytics

Our website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate visits and performance. We remove checkout identifiers from analytics URLs before events are sent. These services may process technical information such as browser type, page path, approximate region, and performance timing.

Retention and security

License activation records are retained while needed to validate your license and allow device transfer. We use encryption in transit, hashed identifiers in storage, and access controls appropriate to the service. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Your choices

You can deactivate a license from the app before moving it to another Mac. To ask about your purchase or request deletion of data we control, contact us through tarun-yadav.com. Payment-provider records may be subject to separate legal retention requirements.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its service providers change. The latest version and effective date will remain on this page.
